My name is Margaret.

I am a photographer and world traveler. I have been based in Tokyo, Japan for the past three years and try to bring my international, candid perspective to my photography. 

I love a photograph with clarity and dream-like qualities that make you stop to take in the colors, the scene, and the world around you. I love the natural interplay of light and shadow, absence versus density, and soft transitory colors, all themes you'll throughout my work. 

I hope that my photographs offer something that is atmospheric and nostalgic for a place that you've never been.

When I'm not working, I can typically be found spending time with my three cats or crafting next summer’s drink of choice.
